Joe Corso, Mid Seven Transportation Receives Outstanding Fleet Maintenance Professional's Award

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Motor Truck Association recently recognized Joe Corso, Mid Seven Transportation for his outstanding work in the maintenance operations. Joe has consistently demonstrated his knowledge, expertise, commitment and dedication to excellence in his involvement with the company maintenance program. Maintenance is a valued partner in the ongoing safety campaign of a trucking company. Maintaining safe equipment is crucial to ongoing safety efforts of any trucking firm. The Iowa Motor Truck Association, Iowa Council of Safety Management and Midwest Wheel Companies are the sponsors of the awards program.

"The objective of this annual contest is to highlight and showcase the maintenance professionals in the State of Iowa that have demonstrated the commitment needed to operate at the highest level of maintenance at all times. These winners are setting the standards within the trucking industry. Joe Corso has been a role model for maintenance professionals for many years and we are please that he is receiving this prestigious honor," said IMTA President R. Scott Weiser.

The maintenance professionals were nominated by vendors, insurance professionals and regulators to be considered for this award. After a thorough review process, seven individuals were selected to receive this honor. A demonstrated commitment to maintenance operations and overall vehicle inspection records were also considered in the process. These individuals are the true professionals in the industry and their work enables the ongoing success of their respective fleets.
